Providing a payslip to an employee is mandatory in South Africa. The Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA) requires that employers issue a payslip each time an employee is paid. These payslips must contain specific information such as the employee’s pay and overtime rates, number of hours worked and any deductions made.

With our payroll services you will receive payslips electronically for employees that is compliant with the Act.

PAYE will be calculated on the payroll and submitted to SARS and you will be liable for the payment to SARS. PAYE is due to SARS by the 7th of the following month or the Friday before if the 7th is over a weekend of public holiday.

Twice a year from April to May and September to October IRP 5 recons must be submitted to SARS to ensure that the monthly PAYE submissions are reconciled to the employee tax certificates. At the end of the financial year, we will send the IRP 5 certificates to you once the IRP 5 recon was submitted to SARS.

UIF will be submitted to Dept of Labour to ensure that employee information is up to date at Dept of Labour at all times. We will assist with the issue of UI19 when an employee leaves your employ as well as his payroll record.

Once a year the WCA will be submitted to Dept of Labour and the invoice raised will be forwarded to you for payment before Dept of Labour will issue you with a Letter of Good Standing. The information for the workmen compensation is based on your payroll totals and not for specific employees.
